Majority of Policy Holders Treated Well by Insurers – Poll Result

0

A majority of respondents to our latest poll question agree that insurers and advisers are serving the best interests of their clients.

Our poll is due to close on 25 April, but so far the responses show that 59% of those who have cast a vote believe insurance policy holders are treated appropriately.

Of the remaining votes, 32% appear indicate clients are not treated well, and 9% of voters are ‘not sure’.

Speaking during an FSC webinar, the FMA’s Clare Bolingford says the market dynamic between providers and intermediaries does “…not always facilitate fair treatment” for policy holders.

If you haven’t yet voted in this poll, then there is still time.

Do insurers and advisers always serve the best interests of consumers?

  • Yes (64%)
  • No (29%)
  • Not sure (7%)
