A FAP licencing workshop is being run by the FMA and Financial Advice NZ to help those who have yet to start their licencing journey.
Financial Advice NZ CEO Katrina Shanks says the webinar workshop on Wednesday 27 April is an opportunity to start the licensing process with “…expert guidance directly on hand to answer your specific questions, and help you with any areas you get stuck on as you go”.
“This licensing workshop with the FMA will be run a little differently to our usual Bring in the Experts webinars,” says Shanks.
“It will be a two-hour session split into two breakout rooms for you to choose from, and switch between, depending on the areas you need help on during the application process.”
Before you can start your application online with the FMA, advisers will need to log into the FSPR on the Companies Office website and select the “Financial advice provider – licensee – full licence” service. This must be done at least 24 hours before you start your application.
