The FMA is preparing a series of online information sessions to help FAPs understand how to use its online portal to file their annual returns.
All licensed FAPs are required to complete a return for the period 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024, and submit it via the FMA’s website by 30 September.
The FMA states the information is used to help its staff understand risks and improve its ability to reduce harm, respond quickly, and ensure effective use of its resources.
The annual returns also helps the regulator to pick up on emerging trends across the industry.
The FMA says FAPs with questions about the annual return system should contact them via questions@fma.govt.nz
The FMA has not announced a date for its online sessions.
