Asteron Life has appointed Kathie Tutty as its Chief Underwriter. She is currently the firm’s Underwriting Manager and Principal Underwriter, and takes up her new role on Friday 31 May.
Tutty has worked in underwriting life insurance for almost 30 years, including time in senior underwriting roles at both AIA and Partners Life.
“I have always had a passion for finding the best customer outcomes, and I am eager and excited to collaborate with such a talented team and contribute to Asteron Life’s continued success and growth in the industry,” says Tutty.
The firm’s Executive General Manager Life Grant Willis says Tutty’s promotion recognises “…her passion and ambition for our business, and her desire to take our underwriting performance and strategy to the next level”.
