Loading ...Nearly eight-in-10 respondents to our latest poll agree their advice practice is experiencing a higher rate of life insurance policy cancellations.
As we go to press, 75% of poll respondents agreed they are seeing a higher rate of cancellations over the last 12 months, while 21% disagreed that this was the case. Just 4% were unsure.
Our question arose following commentary out of Australia that pointed to cost-of-living pressures and higher premiums, coupled with demographic and health changes, leading many Australians to re-evaluate their life insurance. (see: Seven Factors Driving Life Insurance Cancellations).
We had wondered if New Zealand advice practices were experiencing something similar, and the poll results to date indicate that indeed this could be the case.
