In our latest poll, we ask you whether you are likely to charge a fee for your services in the future.

National adviser firm, Kepa, recently held its 2019 Conference and one of its keynote speakers was New Zealand Wealth Advisory co-founder, Scott Fitzpatrick CFP (see: Kepa Conference, Lead Adviser Workshops…).

Fitzpatrick spoke on becoming a lead adviser and creating a fee-based income stream which can work alongside existing remuneration models.

A number of Lead Adviser Programs are being held in November and December with some already sold out.

According to New Zealand Wealth Advisory, the two day training workshops are set to cover:

  • Strategies to orientate your business toward families and successful business owners
  • Whiteboard training techniques incorporating using a “10-3-Now” advice strategy
  • Training in how to talk the language of the client
  • Training to understand the needs of a high net worth business client and successful families
  • Objection handling techniques
  • How to position your services to fee-paying clients
  • How to build a valuable equity model business

Does charging a fee for your services interest you? Are you planning on finding a way to incorporate it into your advice business? Or do you have reservations about how your clients will respond to being charged a fee?

Place your vote in the poll above and we’ll report back to you next week…
