Last week we asked whether you supported the newly approved Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services and the results were quite surprising.
At the time of writing, 45 percent of voters supported the Code, however 30 percent were not sure yet and a quarter said they didn’t support it.
Formed in mid-2017, the Code Working Group undertook a lengthy consultation process with the industry during the development of the Code.
Last week, an association raised concerns it had with the approved Code (see: Code Falls Short…) and the Code Working Group Chair has since addressed them (see: Code Working Group Responds…).
