Financial Advice NZ continues its series of webinars with one featuring a panel of life insurance advisers on Wednesday 15 April at 10am.

The organisation’s CEO Katrina Shanks says the webinar is for financial advisers to obtain an overview of the five insurance providers’ COVID-19 initiatives.

“This will increase their overall knowledge across the five insurance providers responses and they can then share this knowledge with their clients,” says Katrina.

The panel will consists of:

  • Nadine Tereora – Fidelity Life
  • Naomi Ballantyne – Partner Life
  • Graham Hill – Asteron Life New Zealand
  • Len Elikhis – AIA
  • And a representative from Cigna

At 10am on Thursday 16 April, Shanks will host a webinar with Keith Abraham on the theme of ‘What Now – How to Review, Respond and Refocus in Your Role‘.

Abraham is a professional speaker in the financial services sector and will discuss how to respond to COVID-19 and refocus your role for the future.

“This webinar was hugely successful in Australia two weeks ago where 7,500 advisers were online,” says Shanks.

“The webinar will allow participants to ask questions via a chat room.”

Financial Services Council Webinars

The Financial Services Council continues its ongoing series of webinars with one planned for 3.30pm on Tuesday 14 April featuring the co-founder of Voices of Hope Jazz Thornton.

The webinar, Stop Fighting, Start Surviving, will include Thornton talking about her new book followed by a Q&A. Voices of Hope aims to create and implement change for mental health and has been supported by the FSC over the last three years.

At 10am on Friday 17 April the FSC will feature an introduction to the science of wellbeing and resilience by Kathryn Jackson.

Jackson is the author of Resilience at Work and her webinar will include a 30-minute exploration of how emotions could show up for your team, and introduce you to ways to navigate them more effectively.
