The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has appointed Damien Mu, the CEO of AIA Australia, to its board.
Mu has insurance industry experience spanning over 20 years and is an executive leader in the Australian financial services industry with management experience across operations, claims and underwriting, superannuation, investments, distribution, product, pricing and marketing.
Mu is also a director of Australia’s Financial Services Council board and joint Chair of the FSC Life board committee.
Mu said: “I am passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, and believe strongly that this is what the insurance industry seeks to do.
“ANZIIF plays a crucial role in making a difference in the education and training of our people, and I can’t wait to provide further input into this important work.”
