Partners Life Executive Leaves Insurance Industry

A little over a year after joining Partners Life as its Chief Operating Officer Nadine Tereora has resigned to join the Automobile Association as its CEO.

Before joining Partners Life in June 2020, Tereora was CEO of Fidelity Life from 2016 to May 2020 and prior to that – in 2014 – she was appointed to Suncorp’s Asteron Life, where she served as CEO and Executive General Manager.

Tereora was the first female CEO of a Suncorp Group company and will be the AA’s first female CEO.

She has been a Financial Services Council board member since October 2016, serving as Chair of the Life Insurance Committee, and is a founding member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Tereora will take up her new role at the AA in February 2022, replacing Brian Gibbon.
