Members of Financial Advice NZ will see their membership fees rise in July, the increase will help the organisation provide additional benefits says its CEO Katrina Shanks.

Starting next month associate members will pay $510 a year, up from $490. And Adviser members will see their annual fee rise form $795 to $830.

“We have made every effort to ensure we keep this increase to a minimum,” says Shanks.

Shanks says Hodgetts will focus on providing members with the upskilling and tools they need to provide “…the best possible outcomes for your clients”.

She says the organisation will continue to be a strong advocate and collective voice for members on matters such as CCCFA, CoFI, the NZ Income Insurance Scheme and Improving Insurance Contract Law.

In recent months the organisation has updated the professional liability programme it offers members. It is also offering a new life insurance and TPD scheme which includes a Best Doctors benefit.
