New Licensing Regime Hasn’t Improved Advice – Poll Result

1

Has the new licensing regime implemented by the FMA been worthwhile when it comes to raising the quality of advice offered by advisers?

According to the early results our latest poll, the majority of those who have so far voted is ‘no’.

Last week we asked if the quality of the advice you offer has changed for the better as a result of the implementation of new industry regulations.

So far, of the votes cast, 81% say ‘no’, 11% indicate the advice they offer is better than it was, and 7% aren’t sure one way or the other.

This poll closes on 14 March, so there’s still time to have your say.

Has the quality of the advice you offer your clients changed for the better as a result of the implementation of the new regulatory regime?

  • No (80%)
  • Yes (17%)
