Compliance Refinery Wins Top Award

Compliance Refinery has received the FSC’s 2023 Excellence in Governance Award.

The firm’s CEO Steve Burgess, and its Head of Governance Melanie Purdey, heard they had won while attending the FSC’s Building Consumer Confidence conference at The Cordis Hotel, Auckland, on Wednesday 16 August.

Burgess says the recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of his team in “…upholding the highest standards and going above and beyond in governance and compliance”.

Purdey said: “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the FSC for recognising our hard work with this prestigious award.

“This accomplishment serves as an inspiration for us to continue striving for excellence in all aspects of governance within Compliance Refinery.”

Compliance Refinery was one of two companies shortlisted for the award along with the New Zealand Automobile Association.

Partners Life’s Naomi Ballantyne won the FSC’s Chairman’s Award for Service to the Industry.

And Asteron Life’s claims team was awarded a highly commended in the Team of the Year category.
