AIA Streamlines Adviser Application Process

A new online application system for advisers wanting to market AIA’s products has been launched.

One aim of its Digital Agency initiative is to reduce application processing times by reducing the manual administration process.

“It’s a win-win for our financial adviser network and AIA NZ,” says Sharron Botica, the firm’s Chief Partnership Distribution Officer.

“Our digital offering provides a pathway into our AIAHub portal – our one-stop shop for financial advisers – and a key differentiator for our business,” says Botica.

Key features of Digital Agency include:

  • Simplified application process
  • Automated workflow, identity, and due diligence checks
  • A gateway for advisers to submit their education and professional development certification
  • Improved business development opportunities

The firm’s Chief Technology Officer, Marc Hale, says AIA is continually expanding and improving the adviser experience “…and this is the latest in its simplification journey”.

Further changes have been signalled by the firm.
