Cigna’s Annual Learning and Declaration Requirements

Financial advisers working with Cigna are now able to complete online courses and meet declaration requirements via its Adviser Training Hub.

These requirements, first announced by the firm in December last year, include annual product recertification and declarations that have been designed to help advisers stay ahead of their compliance obligations.

David Haak, Cigna’s General Manager – Distribution, says to make it easy for advisers to keep track of the requirements, a new My Score Card tool has been connected to MBIE’s Financial Service Provider Register.

In addition, the firm’s training and accreditation portals will automatically change from green, to orange, or red, based on where advisers sit when it comes to their training and compliance.

“You’ll find your My Score Card in the ‘My Profile’ section of Adviser Hub,” says Haak. “Any outstanding requirements will be clearly outlined, as well as when you need to complete them.”

To complete any outstanding requirements, all Cigna advisers need to do is click the ‘Complete your learning and declarations’ button at the top of the score card to be taken to the firm’s Adviser Training Hub.
