Business coach Tony Vidler writes that your clients may need more time than expected to make a decision when it comes to accepting financial advice.

This can often happen, he says, when clients face what could be termed an ’emotional journey’. At this point, logic and common sense are set aside.

He recommends developing greater soft skills to give clients time and space to go through the emotional learning curve, rather than use hackneyed phrases to encourage a decision. But what’s your view?
